Pet Medical Services
in Conroe, TX

At Triangle Animal Clinic, we strive to provide our patients with high-quality care using the most

advanced technology.

That’s why we offer a range of preventive services to keep your pet healthy. However, if we know of or suspect any health problems, we use medical services to diagnose and treat them so they can return to a healthy state. These services include our in-house laboratory, comprehensive diagnostic imaging equipment, expert laser therapy, and PRP therapy.

In-House Laboratory Testing

For your convenience, we offer laboratory testing right here in our Conroe, TX animal hospital. That means if your pet needs a blood test, urinalysis, or any other lab test, you don’t have to visit another vet. In some cases, we can have the results back the same day. We know getting your fur baby’s lab results back fast means that treatment (if necessary) can begin sooner, so we take pride in our ability to offer this service.

Some of the tests we perform in our lab include complete blood counts (CBC) and blood chemistry analyses, fecal testing to test for internal parasites, and urine testing. We can also perform a blood test at your pet’s first visit so we can have a baseline and make comparisons for future visits. Depending on your pet’s age and health status, we may recommend certain tests to be performed annually.

Comprehensive Diagnostic Imaging Services

In addition to our in-house diagnostic laboratory services at Triangle Animal Clinic, we offer ultrasonography and radiology services, also in house. Our state-of-the-art radiography equipment allows us to examine your pet for broken bones, to determine if they ate something they shouldn’t have, and to detect other conditions. With our ultrasound equipment, we can examine your pet’s organs to diagnose tumors, blockages, pregnancy, and related conditions as well as certain diseases. We sometimes use both forms of technology to obtain the most accurate diagnosis.

Laser Therapy Services

As a means of pain management for your pet, we offer laser therapy, which can also reduce inflammation, promote tissue regeneration, and contribute to wound healing. How does laser therapy achieve these results? Light energy passes through the damaged cells in the body to stimulate inter-cellular activity. The process is painless with no negative side effects, and each session takes only a few minutes. Laser therapy can be used to treat a range of health conditions, including:
  • Arthritis
  • Inflamed ears
  • Abscesses
  • Feline cystitis
  • Sprains
  • Hot spots
  • Disc disease
  • Post-surgical healing
Most pets experience relief in one to three sessions, but chronic conditions may require more sessions.

PRP Therapy

Platelet-rich plasma therapy is a non-surgical, regenerative treatment option that involves using a pet’s own blood to heal the body naturally. The procedure consists of separating the red blood cells from the white blood cells and leaving only plasma and platelets. The plasma is then injected into the problem areas of the same pet. PRP therapy can typically be performed in one day, with each session lasting around 30-45 minutes. It can be used to treat a range of conditions, including:
  • Damaged tendons
  • Osteoarthritis
  • Dental disease
  • Major wounds
  • Spinal problems
  • Hip dysplasia
  • Degenerative joint disease
